District Police Jhalkathi is working effectively in overall law and order control of the district. The four police stations are Jhalkathi Sadar, Nalchiti, Rajapur and Kathalia respectively. Jhalkathi Sadar Circle is there to supervise Jhalkathi Sadar Police Station and Nalchiti Police Station. Rajapur and Kathalia Police Stations are supervised by Rajapur Circle Office. In addition, there are police outposts, investigation centers and camps to maintain law and order at remote places within the district. The office of Superintendent of Police is in the heart of Jhalkathi district city to control the entire Jhalkathi district police.
